Memorial Medical Center Foundation has a 50 year history of providing philanthropic support to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, California. The organization is part of the MemorialCare Health System which owns and operates five highly regarded hospitals in Southern California. The President of the Memorial Medical Center Foundation will report to the medical center’s Chief Executive Officer and will be part of the senior executive team. He/she will oversee a staff of fundraising professionals and work closely with the fundraising board of directors in advancing philanthropic programs to support the organization. The foundation is financially successful with a strong fundraising tradition and well-established community support. 

Memorial Medical Center Foundation requires that candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s degree and/or advance fundraising certification credentials preferred. Additionally, candidates should possess at least 15 years of senior level fund development experience in a non-profit organization. Previous experience with healthcare fundraising and/or children’s hospital fundraising is a plus.
