Reporting to the Founder/CEO as a key member of the leadership team, the Vice President of Development & Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for managing the strategic direction and oversight of a comprehensive fund development program. He/She will focus on building strategic alliances with diverse constituencies in order to drive major gift commitments from funders and achieve fundraising goals. The Vice President will play a pivotal role in the growth and evolution of this groundbreaking, globally respected $6 million organization. Leading candidate will have at least ten years of progressively responsible, related experience from either the nonprofit or for-profit sector and a track record of raising significant support and proven success with fundraising from both institutional and individual supporters. A background in a health care environment and strong working knowledge of the medical science research community are preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required; a graduate degree is preferred. Some travel will be required.
